Educational Arts is heading off to Singapore in May to make preparations for the MusicLearningLive!Asia Conference we’re programming. This is a partnership which has been two years in the making, and we’re excited to see that the programme promises to make MLLA a unique event. We have our keynote speakers: Playing for Change Founder, Mark Johnson; International Concert Pianist Joanna MacGregor; education expert Yong Zhao, and our own David Price.
The Playing for Change band will be a particular highlight – if you haven’t seen them you’ll get a flavour from this video:
Whilst the keynotes and many performances will be exciting, it’s the programme’s breadth and opportunities for participation that we’re most excited about. We have presenters and delegates from all five continents, making it a truly global event, and there will be lots of opportunities for delegates to present their ideas, and, of course, share their music.
The conference is expected to have 1200 delegates in the new Max Atria Convention Centre, in Singapore. We’ll bring you more details as planning proceeds, but please visit the website, to read more.
