In October, we will be heading to Asia and Australia, working with teachers, researchers and schools, in the pursuit of making learning more engaging.
We’re directing the programme of a ground-breaking music education conference in Singapore from October 23-26th. MusicLearningLive!Asia will be a real hands-on event for music educators working in the formal and informal sectors, around the globe. One of the keynote speakers will be Yong Zhao, who has a unique perspective on the relative merits of education systems in the East and West.
We’ll also be providing a keynote talk, ‘Music Learning In A Socially Connected World’, and running a Project Based Learning working, with master teacher James Humberstone.
Delegate places are still available, book here, for last minute deals!
From Singapore, we’ll be heading to Delhi, India to work with the fabulous Vega Schools.
After that – aside from a brief set of workshops in Shanghai, China, we’ll be based in Australia. We will be doing a mixture of workshops, giving talks and working with the Innovation Unit and AITSL on the innovative Learning Frontiers project.
We have a few days where we’re hoping to work directly with schools, consolidating our work earlier this year in Project Based Learning training and Enhancing Engagement Through the Arts. This time we will be working with individual schools or clusters of schools. We’ll therefore be offering day long consultancies and workshops in Embedding Project Based Learning, and Drawing as a Tool for Literacy and Thinking Skills. Free dates/cities are:
