I am currently working hard on mergers of music organisations and more collaboration in Gloucestershire and as a Board member of Sound Sense am very willing to support a more radical approach to getting a unified voice.

I absolutely love this gem; “How have we been so comprehensively outmatched by our colleagues in sports?” It’s simple really, sports = teams and music education (far too often) = islands. Although our solutions may differ, we are united in frustration at the direction that the profession of music education is taking in our respected countries. Kudos David – I hope we get to meet someday over coffee or tea!
